Welcome to Musselburgh Cricket Club

Welcome to Musselburgh Cricket Club. We are based in the historic Inveresk area of Musselburgh, with our player catchment area being East Edinburgh, Midlothian and East Lothian.

We are members of the East of Scotland Cricket Association, and operate three senior teams in the East League. In 2010 our 1st XI will play in Division 2 following 5 promotions in the last 6 seasons. Our 2nd XI will play in Division 5 after finishing runners-up of Division 6 in 2009. The club is entering a new 3rd XI into the ESCA leagues in 2010 with the team starting in Division 8. Apart from Saturday league cricket, we play in several midweek and Sunday cups. We also play many friendly and social fixtures. We have weekly net sessions throughout the year, and qualified coaches.

Our junior setup is being relaunched following a Sportsmatch grant and team sponsorships, in 2010 we hope to have both Kwik Cricket and hardball junior teams. Several of our previous juniors are now featuring regularly in the senior teams.

Our home ground is Lewisvale Park in Musselburgh, which is a public park within which we maintain the wicket. We have a 10 wicket square, including an artificial surface. When available the club also uses the main square at Loretto School in Musselburgh.
